Crossfire is The Killers frontman's lead single off his upcoming album Flamingo. So far he isn't straying too far from his band's turf, and that's really not a bad thing.
The good news is that based on last week's White House visit by The Killers, this detour to solo-ville doesn't seem to be the end-of-the-road for one of my favorite bands. It maybe just a little expansion of their neon universe.
