No, you girls never know how you make a boy feel.

You may have heard this on the new iPod Touch commercials, but here's No You Girls, the second, still-brilliant, single from the latest Franz Ferdinand album.

They're touring around the U.S. right now. The last time they were in Denver, they destroyed the Fillmore, so I have even higher expectations for the Ogden Theater in April!

C'mon lets get h@#!

Apparently the friendly folks at LOGO have some issues with drugs. I'd argue that some of their programming would seem much more controversial, but who am I to second guess the suits at MTV.

The reason this matters is that Franz Ferdinand's brilliant new video noticeably played there this week minus the apparently naughty word "high."

So, why I would bring up a song I've flogged enough on here again?

Franz Ferdinand just announced a Denver show, Wednesday, April 22.

Their last foray into Mile High City was one of the best concerts I've been to in recent memory, so you can expect to see me at the Ogden Theater that night. You should come too.

Another notable act booked the Ogden today, but I'm convinced there's some sort of serious Matzah conspiracy going on now. There are two days -- just two nights -- in all of spring that are absolutely non-negotiable for me.

The Ting Tings landed on one of them, now Lily Allen has claimed the next day.

The Matzah-Mafia is clearly out for me this season.

Please go to those shows too and make me all jealous. It's turning into a fantastic spring concert season out here!

I'll find a new way, baby.

Since I'm making a point of over-hyping Franz Ferdinand's new single that I keep skipping to on my iPod, here's the actual video for Ulysses.

Just buy the new album when it comes out next week and maybe I'll shut up about this.

I found a new way. C’mon doll and use me.

I already posted about this song, but seeing as the Franz Ferdinand's Denver gig, a few years back, is probably one of my favorite recent concerts, it can't hurt to pimp their new single Ulysses some more.

Maybe we'll get them back to an oxygen-deprived stage here soon...

Meanwhile, here's the band teasing with a live take:

I have already preordered Tonight: Franz Ferdinand.

Have you?

I'm not Ulysses.

Another album to watch for in the new year:

Franz Ferdinand are now out pre-pimping their 2009 release "Franz Ferdinand: Tonight" with a select tour of appearances across the globe. The first single Ulysses ia already catching my ear...

Lucid Dreams

An unexpected new little morsel from Franz Ferdinand:

They have a new album percolating. The question is when?
